Ru xử lý sách hoàn toàn trên điện thoại của bạn. Chúng tôi không có máy chủ, không có tài khoản, và không nhận được nội dung sách của bạn. Ru miễn phí và có quảng cáo do Google AdMob cung cấp; quảng cáo là phần duy nhất của ứng dụng dùng tới mạng.
Sách và cài đặt của bạn
Tệp bạn chọn mở (EPUB, PDF, Word, Markdown, TXT) được sao chép vào vùng lưu trữ riêng của ứng dụng trên máy. Việc lấy chữ và tạo giọng nói đều chạy ngoại tuyến trên thiết bị. Sách không được tải lên máy chủ nào và không nằm trong bản sao lưu đám mây của Android, vì Ru tắt tính năng sao lưu tự động.
Vị trí đang đọc, tốc độ, cỡ chữ và nền đọc được lưu trên máy. Gỡ ứng dụng hoặc xoá dữ liệu ứng dụng sẽ xoá toàn bộ những thứ này.
Ru không dùng dịch vụ phân tích hay báo lỗi nào.
Quảng cáo
Khi điện thoại có mạng, Ru hiển thị quảng cáo qua Google AdMob. Để hiển thị và đo lường quảng cáo và chống gian lận, bộ công cụ quảng cáo của Google (Google Mobile Ads SDK) tự động thu thập và chia sẻ với Google:
- địa chỉ IP, có thể dùng để ước tính vị trí gần đúng của thiết bị;
- tương tác với ứng dụng và quảng cáo, như mở ứng dụng, chạm, xem video;
- thông tin chẩn đoán về hiệu năng của ứng dụng và của bộ công cụ quảng cáo;
- mã nhận dạng thiết bị: mã quảng cáo Android (advertising ID) và app set ID.
Dữ liệu được mã hoá khi truyền đi. Google sử dụng dữ liệu này theo chính sách của Google: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Bạn có thể đặt lại hoặc xoá mã quảng cáo, và chỉnh các tuỳ chọn quyền riêng tư quảng cáo, trong mục Quyền riêng tư > Quảng cáo của Cài đặt Android (tên mục có thể khác tuỳ hãng điện thoại). Khi không có mạng, Ru không tải quảng cáo và vẫn đọc sách bình thường.
Quyền ứng dụng
- Thông báo: để hiện nút điều khiển khi Ru đang đọc lúc màn hình tắt.
- Phát âm thanh nền (foreground service): để tiếp tục đọc khi tắt màn hình hoặc chuyển sang ứng dụng khác.
- Internet và trạng thái mạng: chỉ để tải quảng cáo.
Ru không xin quyền vị trí, danh bạ, micro hay camera, và chỉ mở những tệp chính bạn chọn.
Trẻ em
Ru không hướng đến trẻ em dưới 13 tuổi và không cố ý thu thập dữ liệu của trẻ em.
Thay đổi chính sách
Khi chính sách này thay đổi, ngày cập nhật ở đầu trang sẽ thay đổi theo.

Summary
Ru processes books entirely on your phone. There is no server, no account, and we never receive your book content. Ru is free and shows ads provided by Google AdMob; ads are the only part of the app that uses the network.
Your books and settings
Files you choose to open (EPUB, PDF, Word, Markdown, TXT) are copied into the app's private storage on your device. Text extraction and speech synthesis run offline, on the device. Books are never uploaded to any server, and they are not included in Android's cloud backup, because Ru turns automatic backup off.
Your reading position, speed, text size and reading background are stored on the device. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes all of them.
Ru uses no analytics or crash-reporting service.
Ads
When the phone is online, Ru shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google's advertising SDK (Google Mobile Ads SDK) automatically collects and shares with Google:
- the IP address, which may be used to estimate the device's approximate location;
- interactions with the app and its ads, such as app launches, taps and video views;
- diagnostic information about the performance of the app and the ads SDK;
- device identifiers: the Android advertising ID and the app set ID.
This data is encrypted in transit. Google uses it according to Google's policies: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
You can reset or delete your advertising ID, and change ad privacy options, under Privacy > Ads in Android Settings (the exact menu names vary by phone maker). Without a network connection Ru loads no ads and keeps reading as usual.
App permissions
- Notifications: to show playback controls while Ru reads with the screen off.
- Background media playback (foreground service): to keep reading when the screen is off or you switch to another app.
- Internet and network state: only to load ads.
Ru does not request location, contacts, microphone or camera access, and opens only the files you choose.
Children
Ru is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
